Hope y’all had a great week! It was a crazy one for me, traveling and working. Being away from my family is hard but we have a pretty solid system. Plus, Jason’s parents live a few miles a way which is a huge blessing when we are both working. Jason grew up with his grandparents close by and just has the sweetest relationship with his grandmother. I’m excited for our kids to have that.
Now that I’m back to work (bye, bye maternity leave), eating healthy and working out are necessary! No more large pasta dishes or seconds on dessert, they were good while they lasted though:) I will probably be posting more healthy recipes and solid workouts, are y’all into that? I’ll make sure to only post the absolute best of the best. Speaking of greatness, here are my Friday Favorites that I’m so excited to share…
- Besides staying physically healthy, I’m striving to make this my best year yet (as I do every year:) For me, this year is all about bettering myself, helping others and getting back to what is important to me. Since I was introduced to this podcast, The School of Greatness by Lewis Howes, I haven’t been able to stop listening! Lewis Howes (who is already an inspiration himself) interviews all different types of people who have succeeded in their field. They share their stories, biggest challenges and how they’ve overcome them, loads of knowledge on their topics and all around inspiring points about life. I am a bit obsessed with this podcast because of the way it makes me feel, inspired. I have listened to about four of them now, all completely different interviewees, and I’ve walked away feeling motivated and excited about life. Seriously guys, this podcast will humble you, lift you up, make you laugh and help you see life with a little more sparkle! I highly recommend it, no matter where you are in life. My favorite one so far: Rob Bell on Life’s Meaning and Interpreting Faith. Check it out!!
- 2. If you’re a mom, mommy-to-be or future mom, make sure to check out these baby elephant ears. First of all, they are hilarious. August looks so darn cute with them around her little head. More importantly though, it is a baby headrest support pillow. It keeps her head up right while she works on getting strength in her neck. I love it because it keeps her from stirring while she sleeps. A longer, more peaceful sleep for her and me, win win:) They come in tons of other colors and fabrics. Check them out here or visit them on Facebook, Twitter or Instagram.
- Revolve is having a huge sale on their outerwear right now. I’m kind of obsessed with this furry coat, it just looks so plush and warm. I just got this denim button-up and absolutely love it (I got the xs and it fits like a glove). I’ll post it next week for y’all to see it on.
Lastly, if you haven’t entered the MACBOOK GIVEAWAY on my instagram, I highly recommend it. It ends tonight at 8pm PST so you still have time. Good luck!!
Cheers to the weekend,
PS. If you have a second, go show some love for this mom-invented product and LIKE Baby Elephant Ears on Facebook. Facebook has made is more difficult for brands to get likes with their new rules so this would greatly help the brand
