1. Good Food! My husband Jason has been out-of-town a lot lately for work. When he is gone, I get to catch up on my reality and cooking shows (quality selection of TV I know:) I just love ABC’s The Chew because it’s five happy hosts and a whole lot of good cooking. I also really like Cooking channel’s Dinner At Tiffany’s with Tiffany Theissen a.k.a Kelly Kapowski. She has the cutest personality and seems to really know her way around a kitchen. Here is my favorite recipe of her’s so far, Cream Cheese Pie. Seriously, it’s so light and delicious, y’all gotta try it! It would make an excellent end to a Mother’s day brunch or dinner:)2. Finding Alternatives – Don’t get me wrong, when I find something that works the way it says it will, I am loyal! I have favorite eye creams, foundations, eye pencils but I am definitely always open for new suggestions. Last week I worked with a celebrity makeup artist who introduced me to the Laneige Water Sleeping Mask. Now, I already have an absolute favorite moisturizer sleeping mask but at half the price, I wanted to give Laneige a chance! So you apply the cream before bed and sleep with it on your face and neck, overnight. In the morning your supposed to wash it off. After my first use, my skin was soft and firm. I used it a second night and the next morning, my skin felt hydrated, soft and plump. To be honest, the two night results from the Laneige was equal to one night from my favorite brand, Korres sleeping facial. Whatever you decide to use, your skin will be thankful for the extra attention and hydration.
3. Speaking of Mother’s day, what the heck are y’all getting for your deserving mama’s?? I’ve got some inspiration below for all types of moms. And remember, the acknowledgment and appreciation alone will make your mom feel like a million bucks:)
Have a golden day:)
